What is Social Mining?
Social mining is when blockchain enthusiasts participate in the promotion of a project on social media and are rewarded with project tokens as a member of the community.
Projects distribute the project’s reward token to early supporters, as a promotional reward. Rewards are usually calculated from the public SALE price of the token The value that community members add to the project increases the market value of the token. It attracts the attention of investors. This is a win-win situation.
How ShaarMining Works?
The Shaar team aims to ensure the healthy growth of the project for many years because Shaar has a wide roadmap, such as producing board games and manga, being played worldwide, publishing books, and even making movies and series. On this long road, it aims to build its own loyal community and grow together. To this end, social mining has begun for its early supporters. Getting Started with #ShaarMining;
1- If you have not used the Gleam.io platform before, you must log in with your Google account to prove that you are an organic account. Gleam.io saves your social media accounts such as your email address, TG account, discord and Twitter account and creates a user ID for you.
2- There are 3 main tasks in Shaarmining.
a. Weekday Daily Tasks: Every day, miners follow the clues placed on a social media account of the project and create an original tweet using a unique hashtag. These tweets and small follow-up tasks are recorded on the gleam platform. The deadline for daily tweets is set at 10:00 UTC each day to cover our social miners from Indonesia to Canada. The start time of each task is 10:00 UTC. The daily mission is announced on the HUB and on the Announcement channel on telegram. Also, local group admins share tasks in local languages.
- Every day at 10:00 UTC, social miners read the given hint and do small tasks on gleam.io which they access via the Social mining link. Then they post an original tweet using the requested hashtags (this tweet is automatically scored by gleam thanks to the hashtags)
b. Weekend Task: Social Miners will tweet their designs such as gifs, videos or infographics that require special skills during the week as special content on the weekend.
- Social Miners will share their original designs on Twitter with the hashtag #ShaarFanArt until 15:00 UTC on Saturday or Sunday. They will record the link to this post in the form announced in the Announcement and HUB.
c. Large-scale promotional tasks with expected viral impact or special events targeting our various social media platforms. Usually 2–3 campaigns per month.
- Social Miners get the chance to participate early in these campaigns, which are shared on Twitter and run through gleam,io, as they are part of the project community.
3- Social Miners’ rewards are usually distributed to BSC addresses on a weekly or 15-day basis.
These distributions to a large number of users are made using smart contracts and delivered via the Omchain network via metamask. You can review the guide for adding omchain to your Metamask wallet and importing your RSHRs to the wallet.
